CAS 140 IR series – High-performance for wavelengths in the infrared spectral range

Manufacturers of high-class LEDs, luminaires and displays all over the world have for many years been placing their trust in the precise and reliable measuring results of the CAS array spectroradiometer from Instrument Systems.

The two CAS 140 models IR1 (780 nm – 1700 nm) and IR2 (1500 nm – 2150 nm) are available for measuring wavelengths above 1100 nm. Like all spectrometers from Instrument Systems, the infrared models come with a calibration traceable to the PTB or NIST.

MultiCAS system

By combining different CAS models through a trigger box, the infrared models of the CAS 140 can be upgraded to a MultiCAS system. In this way, complex spectral measurements are simultaneously possible over an extremely wide wavelength range or over multiple samples.

The MultiCAS module of the corresponding SpecWin Pro analytical software evaluates all measurement data by user-friendly means in a common measuring curve.

CAS 140 IR series – Product details for infrared models:

  • Model versions from 780 nm to 2150 nm
  • Cooled detector down to -10° C (IR1) or -20° C (IR2) for minimum dark current
  • Spectrograph with excellent stray light suppression
  • Integral density filter wheel
  • Extensive SpecWin Pro spectral software

Development and quality control of high-quality LEDs

The infrared models of the CAS 140 are among the key measuring instruments in the complex system solutions from Instrument Systems. By virtue of their long service life and reliability, they are employed in the development and quality control of broadband light sources and infrared LEDs.

In combination with other CAS models, the measuring scope of the CAS 140 spectroradiometer in IR results in an extremely wide application spectrum. Solve your measurement tasks with systems from Instrument Systems – in established brands and new challenges, e.g. in transmission, reflection or photovoltaics!
