Dr. Sascha Reinhardt, Product Manager at Instrument Systems, will present “Ambient Light Effects on Virtual Image Quality in AR Glasses”, exploring how real-world lighting conditions influence the perceived image quality of optical see-through AR displays.

Based on calibrated colorimetric measurements, his presentation will examine the effects of background luminance and chromaticity on virtual image color, contrast and uniformity, highlighting the trade-off between virtual image visibility and real-world transparency.
