Instrument Systems appoints new CEO

On January 1st, 2026, Dr. Marc Lünnemann has been assigned as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Instrument Systems. 

With over two decades of international experience in the lighting, automotive, and display industries, Dr. Lünnemann brings extensive expertise in leading global business units. His previous positions include leadership roles in medium-sized technology companies as well as global matrix organizations, including CEO of OSRAM OLED GmbH, Docter Optics SE, and Novaled GmbH. His professional career has taken him to the USA, China, Korea, and other international markets. 

With a PhD in physics and an Executive MBA, he has in-depth knowledge in the areas of lighting, optics, and solid-state physics. He also has extensive expertise in strategy, organizational, and business development, as well as portfolio and M&A management.
