Instrument Systems again supported the Lichtwoche München in 2019, which was organized for the fifth time by Pflaum-Verlag and "Licht" magazine. In more than 60 program points, more than 3000 guests from professionals to public were able to find out more about the subject of "light". Instrument Systems opened its light laboratory for an evening as part of Lichtwoche. Product manager Silke explained in a short presentation where and why light is being measured: What is the challenge when the uniqueness of the human eye has to be modeled using measuring instruments? Why doesn't it make sense to assemble the CIE standard color system "color shoe" by yourself? Sales Engineer Max took over the presentation of state-of-the-art light measurements in the lab. Using an Ulbricht sphere and an high-end array spectrometer, he analyzed a tuneable LED lamp over its full color cycle and discussed the results with the guests.
