Light Measurement of VR devices

Light measuring devices (LMD) are essential tools for developing novel display technologies as well as for quality assurance in display mass production. More complex displays, e.g. Near Eye Displays (NED), might require various LMDs in different development and production phases. Goniometric display analysis with full angular and spectral resolution complements with spectrally enhanced, fast 2D imaging measurements covering a wide range of display test application from research to development to production. Experimental data from these measurement principles are compared, emphasizing luminance and chromaticity measurements.
