データ・プライバシー
Instrument Systems GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "Instrument Systems") attaches particular importance to the protection of the personal data of all visitors who use our Internet site and contact us. The processing of personal data by Instrument Systems is carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (FDPA).
The present information in accordance with Art. 13 ff. GDPR on data protection serve the duty to inform when personal data is collected.
1. Processing and transmission of your personal data
In principle, we process your data in Germany and in other European countries (EU/EEA). If your data is processed in countries outside the European Union (i.e. in so-called third countries), this will only take place if you have expressly consented to it, if it is provided for by law or if it is necessary for our service provision to you. If, in these exceptional cases, we process data in third countries, this is done under the assurance of certain measures (i.e. based on the existence of an appropriateness decision by the EU Commission or based on the existence of suitable guarantees, Art. 44ff. GDPR).
This site uses TLS encryption for reasons of security and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as contact requests that you send to us as site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If TLS encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
We generally do not sell or lend any personal data of visitors to our website to third parties.
2. Legal basis of the processing
(1) Insofar as the processing of your data takes place on the legal basis of consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time.
Right of revocation: Your consent can be revoked at any time without giving reasons with effect for the future. You can either send an e-mail to datamanagement@instrumentsystems.com or write to the contact details of the person responsible given below. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
(2) If the processing of personal data is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or of a third party and if at the same time the interests, fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the data subject which require the protection of personal data do not outweigh our legitimate interest, Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.
(3) If the processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract with you or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken in response to your request, the legal basis on which our processing is based is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.
(4) In cases in which the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which we are subject, this processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR.
Personal data shall only be stored for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes stated here or for as long as the retention periods stipulated by law require. After the respective purpose has ceased to apply or the retention periods have expired, the data will be deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

3.3 Matomo (former: Piwik)
We process personal data of visitors to improve the quality and content of our website. The analysis of the usage is carried out with the help of the tool Matomo. Your IP address is processed for this purpose only in abbreviated form and is therefore anonymised. A conclusion to a certain person is therefore not possible. The processing of personal data is regularly carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. A weighing of interests was carried out and came to the conclusion that the interests of the data subjects, among other things due to the technical and organisational measures taken, do not outweigh the interest in improving quality and content. If you do not want the processing for analysis purposes, you can object or withdraw your objection at any time by clicking on the following button:
Please follow this guide to insert the Matomo opt-out code: https://matomo.org/docs/privacy/

Please note that this setting only applies within your browser and only works if cookies are allowed to be set. If you use another browser, an opt-out cookie must also be set here to prevent the collection of usage data. If all cookies are deleted in the browser, the opt-out cookie must be set again in this case as well.
3.4 YouTube
On our websites we have integrated YouTube videos. These are stored at www.youtube.com, but can be played directly from our website. We have activated the extended data protection mode when integrating the videos into our website. This means that no data about you will be transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. However, when you play videos, data is transferred to YouTube. First, YouTube is notified that you have accessed the relevant page on our site. In addition, other data may be sent to YouTube that we are not aware of. We also have no influence on the data transfer. If you are registered with YouTube, the data transferred will be directly associated with your account. YouTube stores your data as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or tailoring its website to your needs. Such an evaluation can be carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) for the purpose of providing advertising that is tailored to your needs. You have a right of objection to the creation of user profiles by YouTube, which you must assert directly with YouTube.
For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing, please see the YouTube privacy policy. There you will find further information on your rights and setting options to protect your privacy: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
The legal basis for the integration of YouTube videos is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR; the legitimate interest is the provision of YouTube functionality on our website.
3.5 Google Maps
The Google Maps service is integrated on our website. This service is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter: Google). Google Maps is a digital map service that allows interactive maps to be embedded on our website to give you an overview of our locations.
By visiting a sub-page on which Google Maps is integrated, Google sets the cookie called "NID" in your browser, which results in a transfer of your personal data, such as your IP address to Google. You can find more information on the subject of cookies under point "3.1 Cookies".
A processing of your personal data by Google takes place on the basis of the transmitted data for the creation of usage profiles for the purpose of needs-based advertising and market research. You can object to this type of processing by Google at any time by asserting your right to object to Google in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO.
For more information on Google's terms of use and data protection, please visit www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
4. Use of the contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions.
Any personal data entered in the message field is also affected by this. We process this data solely for the purpose of processing and answering your enquiry. Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, i.e. on the basis of the justified interest of Instrument Systems in processing your inquiry, or if your inquiry suggests an interest in our products and services on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, i.e. on the basis of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.
Further processing will only take place if you also give your consent for processing for other purposes, e.g. newsletter. Consent of this kind is given separately.
5. Subscribe to the newsletter
Instrument Systems offers customers and other interested parties a newsletter based on consent. Your e-mail address is the only mandatory information for sending the newsletter. The provision of other, separately marked data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. The registration for the newsletter is done by means of the so-called double-opt-in procedure. This means that after your registration we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the information. If you do not confirm your registration by clicking on the links provided in the e-mail, the link sent to you will be deactivated and your data deleted. If you agree to receive information, you will have access to the following information:
- News and information on the Instrument Systems product portfolio
- Exclusive invitations to events, fairs and webinars
- Sending of reference reports and success stories
- Market trends in the form of studies, market research and white papers
As part of the double-opt-in process carried out during registration, we store your IP address for a period of 30 days as well as the time of registration and confirmation. On the basis of your consent, we will evaluate your user behaviour on our websites as well as within the newsletters sent by us and assign your e-mail address / user profile within our database. In addition, we store information about the browser you use and the settings made in the operating system you use, as well as information about your Internet connection with which you reach our website. Through the newsletter sent to you, we receive, among other things, confirmations of receipt and read receipts as well as information about the links you clicked on in our newsletter. We also save which areas you have visited within our website and in our apps. By creating a personal user profile, we want to align our advertising approach to your interests and optimise our offers on our website for you.
Your consent to the shipment can be revoked at any time. You can also send an e-mail to datamanagement@instrumentsystems.com or to the contact details given above. The revocation of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.
6. Online presence in social media
Within social networks, we as site operators use the services of online platforms to inform active users about information and services from Instrument Systems and, if interested, to communicate directly via the platforms. The social media channels thus complement our own websites and offer an alternative means of communication to those who prefer this type of information. We are currently represented in the following networks with our own online profiles:
As soon as you access the respective Instrument Systems social media profiles in your network, the terms and conditions and data processing guidelines of the respective operators apply.
We have no influence on data collection and its further use by the social networks. For example, we only know that your data is processed for market research and advertising purposes and that user profiles are created from your usage behavior and the resulting interests. Furthermore, advertising can also be placed to this effect on the basis of supposed interests. For this purpose, cookies are usually stored on your computer.
We therefore expressly draw your attention to the fact that user data (e.g. personal information, IP address) is stored and used for business purposes by the operators of the networks in accordance with their data use guidelines. We also point out that your data may be processed outside the European Union. US providers who are certified under the "Privacy-Shield" are obliged to comply with the data protection standards of the EU.
We process the data of users in Instrument Systems Social Media presences only insofar as they contact and communicate with us via comments or direct messages. You can assert your rights as a data subject both against us (see also point II Your rights) and against the social network provider. The information on the processing of your personal data by the individual social media providers, as well as the options for objection to this, can be found in point 11 of this data protection declaration.
The processing of users' personal data is based on our legitimate interests in effective information of users and communication with users in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f. GDPR. If you are asked by the respective providers to give your consent to data processing (i.e. to give your consent e.g. by ticking a check box or confirming a button), the legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a. GDPR.
Possible contradictions in the social networks
If you are a member of a social network and do not want the platform to collect data about you via our appearance on the social network and linked to your stored data on the respective network, you must log out of the respective network before visiting our appearance, delete the cookies present on the device and close and restart your browser. After a renewed log-in, you will again be recognisable to the network as a specific user.
For a detailed presentation of the respective processing and the possibilities of objection (opt-out), we refer to the following linked information of the providers.
Also in the case of requests for information and the assertion of the rights of affected persons, we point out that these can be asserted most effectively with the providers. Only the providers have access to the data of the users and can directly take appropriate measures and provide information. Should you nevertheless require assistance, you can contact us.
